Marble is a high-grade decorative material that must be carefully purchased to avoid wasting money. The quality of the marble appearance can be identified from the following items.

(1) Determine the tone of the pattern. In a well-lit condition, place the selected plate and the same batch of other marble plates to be placed on the floor at the same time, and carefully observe them 1.5 m away from them. The pattern tones of the same batch of marble plates should be basically reconciled.

(2) Check surface defects. In a well-lit condition, the plate is placed flat on the ground, and the invisible defect observed from the marble sheet lin is considered to be free of defects; the standing is visible from the sheet lin and is 1. The defect that is not obvious at sin is no obvious defect; Defects clearly seen at sin are considered defective. The specific observed defects are i-plate warpage; there are cracks, blisters, heterochromatic spots, stains and dents on the surface of the board. If it is determined that the above defects are not available, then the sheet is superior, and the front side of the sheet is not allowed to have missing corner defects; if the above defects are not obvious and there is no obvious missing corner, then the board can be considered as a grade. If there are some defects that do not affect the use, and the front side of the sheet is only 1 long and not more than 8mm, the width is not more than 3mm, the rib is missing or the length and width are not more than 3mm, then the board can be judged as a good product. . If the board is damaged during transportation or handling, it can be bonded (for ruptured sheets) or repaired (for angular defects, surface pits or pitting). However, after bonding and repairing, the front side is not allowed to have obvious marks, and the color should be close to the front color.

(3) View the mark. The order of marking the marble plates is: naming, classification, size, grade, standard. The order of the marble plates is: the name of the place of origin, the name of the tonal feature, and the marble (code M). Marble plates are divided into two categories: plain plates (codenamed N): square or rectangular plates; profiled plates (codenamed S): plates of other shapes. There are three grades of marble slab: superior (code A), first grade (code B) and qualified (code C). The classification is based on the allowable deviation of the dimensions of the sheet, the allowable tolerances for flatness, the allowable tolerances for angles, the quality of appearance and the gloss of the mirror.
